Iโm Melissaโa coach, entrepreneur, and woman with ADHD who spent years thinking something was wrong with me. But the truth is, I just needed to learn how to work with my brain, not against it. Now I help other ADHD women do the same, soo they can feel confident, make an impact, and create a business that lights them up.

hey!
hey!
What they didnโt tell me was how to unlock it.
I had to figure it out on my own.
Iโve walked that difficult pathโnow Iโm here to help you navigate yours.
My work is shaped by both lived experience and formal training, but most of all, by my belief that ADHD isn't something to work around, and that we can work WITH by going with the grain and creating less resistance.
I grew up in a small town on a West Coast island, where life moved slowly and nature was everywhere. I spent most of my time outside: climbing trees, swimming in lakes, and spending time outdoors. That freedom shaped me. I was curious, creative, and full of energy. I didn't know it at the time, but I was living with ADHD.
The signs were always there. I struggled to focus unless I was deeply interested. I fidgeted constantly. I had ideas and ambition, but very little follow-through. I also was creative, adventurous and an out of the box thinker.
Growing up structure wasn't something I had a lot of, and as I got older, I felt the impact. I worked hard but still felt like I was behind. I felt disorganized, overwhelmed, and I would constantly compare myself to people who seemed to have it all together.
In my early twenties, I went back to school for business. With the support of a few great mentors, a counsellor, and one professor who really understood how I worked, I began to build systems that made sense for my brain. For the first time, I felt like I wasn't just trying to keep up, I was leading my own journey.
Later, working in corporate gave me even more structure. Everything was broken down into manageable pieces: weekly coaching meetings with my boss, bite-sized goals, checklists, routines, and sales targets that gave me the kind of challenge and dopamine I thrived on. That environment gave me something to lean on. And for a while, it worked. From the outside, it looked like I had everything figured out.
But when I left to build my own business, everything shifted. Without those external systems, I felt stuck. I had experience, knowledge, and drive, but I couldn't gain traction. I kept asking myself why it still felt so hard.
That's when I was diagnosed with ADHD.
The diagnosis didn't change who I was, but it gave me the clarity I had been missing for years. It gave me direction and something to work with. For the first time, I could see that I did not need to push harder. I needed a new way of workingโone that supported how my brain actually functions. I started studying ADHD, nervous system regulation, executive functioning, and what sustainable structure really looks like. And it changed everything.
That was the turning point. I had been mentoring women in business already, and I realized how many of us were trying to succeed in systems that were never designed for how our brains work. I decided to go deeper. I trained through the ADD Coaching Academy and began supporting ADHD women in a way that felt more meaningful.
I help them understand their brain, tap into their strengths, and build momentum by aligning their work with what actually motivates and energizes themโnot by forcing themselves to do things the way they think they're supposed to.
Because I know what it's like to be told you have so much potential but never be shown how to access it.
I had to figure that out the hard way.
